We understand you are your child's first educators and we value the importance of working together with you as they grow throughout their time at LAS Nursery.

We hold parent consultations every term to review progress and development, set next steps and plan individual learning journeys. This is an opportunity to ask questions and understand the different ways you can support your child’s learning and development at home.

For children with Special Educational or Health needs, we work with you, your key person and the Nursery Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to create Support and Care Plans. These plans are specific to the individual needs of your child and are reviewed regularly to ensure they are accurate and up to date.

Workshops

Parent workshops provide an opportunity for parents to learn more about specific areas and how to best support the subject with your child at home.  Workshops include topics such as oral health, how to use the Famly app, potty training, baby massage and a Paediatric First Aid. Monthly Newsletter

We produce a monthly newsletter for parents with the latest information about nursery activities, excursions, a look back at the previous month, topics for the next month, dates for your diary, special offers, birthdays and more!

Online Account

You will have your own online Famly account where you can see newsfeed posts from nursery staff and individual observations and updates from your key person. Updates include what your child ate, their sleep times, and tracking their individual journey. 

Webcam

You will also be able to access our room webcams to check in on your little ones through our iWatch portal.
